Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare teaching materials, supervise student projects, and grade assignments.
- Provide student support and fulfill academic administration duties.
- Develop curriculum content and teaching/assessment materials.
- Organize language enrichment activities.
- Participate in Language Centre activities and programs.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a degree in Chinese Language, Chinese Literature, Language Studies (Chinese), Chinese Linguistics, Education (Chinese), foreign language translation, or second language teaching.
- Achieve Putonghua Proficiency Test Level 2B or above, or equivalent qualification.
- Possess at least 3 years of relevant teaching and/or industry work experience.
- Demonstrate strong communication and expression skills in Chinese and English.
- Show strong problem-solving, administrative, IT, and time management abilities.
Appointment
- Part-time (evening lecturer position for 2026/27 academic year); applicants with less experience may be considered for part-time assistant lecturer role as Teaching Assistant.
