Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing access services policies, procedures, and resource sharing management.
- Manage daily operations including budget, staffing rosters, and statistical reporting.
- Supervise and train staff members in the access services department.
- Collaborate with the Learning Support team on information literacy and liaison activities.
- Represent the Library on internal and external committees and task forces.
- Perform shift duties on evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as humanities, business, or social sciences.
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS) or equivalent professional qualification.
- At least three years of post-qualification experience in libraries, preferably academic libraries.
- Proven ability to manage staff, deal with the public, and organize complex projects.
- Fluent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua).
- Background in Access Services, Reference, or Learning Support preferred.
