Duties & Responsibilities
- Install and maintain high availability of an in-house Linux private cloud.
- Troubleshoot and install systems software on Windows and Linux/UNIX systems.
- Develop and implement information security systems.
- Manage department website revamp.
- Handle procurement of computer hardware and software.
- Provide frontline support and consultation services to users.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer-related disciplines from a recognised university or technical institute.
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining high availability of Linux/UNIX computing clusters or private clouds.
- Basic knowledge of firewall and network management.
- Knowledge of database design and management (Oracle, MySQL or Access).
- Experience in Microsoft Server, virtualization services (Hyper-V) and desktop Windows support.
- LPI-3/CCNA/OCP/MCSA certifications or equivalent are advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract — 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement, with contract-end gratuity.
