Duties & Responsibilities
- Cultivate and expand personal networks of high-net-worth individuals, business leaders, philanthropists, foundations and corporations across mainland China.
- Independently identify, qualify and pursue new major-gift prospects while setting and achieving personal engagement targets.
- Serve as a visible ambassador for the university, articulating its vision and impact to inspire prospective donors.
- Align self-generated fundraising initiatives with the university's institutional goals and priorities.
- Monitor developments in philanthropy, business and policy in mainland China to identify emerging opportunities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced or professional qualification (law, finance or related field) advantageous.
- Demonstrable personal network of and strong track record engaging high-net-worth individuals and senior business leaders in mainland China.
- Proven success in independently originating and securing significant gifts, sponsorships or high-value commitments.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in fundraising, private banking, wealth management, family offices or related relationship-driven field.
- Outgoing, confident and personable character with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract — two years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
