Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the IT Manager in leading the Web Application Team and overseeing daily operations of web systems including admission platforms, websites, and portal services.
Manage development, maintenance, enhancement, and integration of web application systems and websites.
Lead implementation, upgrades, testing, and deployment of admission systems while maintaining service quality and security standards.
Assist with adopting and integrating AI technologies into web applications and work with academic teams to develop AI-driven solutions.
Resolve web system issues, manage incidents, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for technical improvements.
Manage project activities including requirements gathering, solution design, resource planning, and budget monitoring.
Advise on and champion IT governance, cybersecurity, data protection, and system administration standards.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, promote knowledge sharing, and support succession planning.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of five years of post-qualification experience in web development, implementation, or management of admission systems.
Extensive knowledge of admission systems in higher education institutions and admissions operations.
Experience coordinating projects, monitoring tasks, and liaising with vendors and stakeholders.
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder support capabilities.
Practical expertise in front-end frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular) and back-end development, servers, APIs, and databases.
Proficiency in SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of AI chatbots and responsive design with expertise in data privacy and cybersecurity.
