Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the IT Manager in leading the Platform Team and overseeing daily operations of the School's Learning Platforms, including SOUL and the SOUL Mobile App.
  • Manage development, maintenance, enhancement, and integration of e-learning and digital learning platforms.
  • Lead system implementation, upgrades, testing, and deployment while ensuring service quality, security, and scalability.
  • Support adoption and integration of AI technologies into teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
  • Provide second-tier technical support and coordinate with IT teams and external vendors to resolve incidents.
  • Manage project activities including requirements gathering, solution design, budget monitoring, and delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data protection standards.
  • Supervise and mentor team members and contribute to continuous service improvement.
  • Support digital transformation and educational technology initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in development, implementation, or management of e-learning systems.
  • Proven experience in project delivery, team supervision, and system implementation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of system development, application integration, cloud platforms, and mobile applications.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Moodle, is advantageous.
  • Experience in AI technologies, learning analytics, or chatbot development is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese.
