Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach students and supervise their projects, fieldwork, and placements.
- Coordinate skills competitions and coach competitors.
- Liaise with industry partners to assess performance and provide training support.
- Develop curriculum and prepare teaching, learning, and assessment materials.
- Support student administration and coordinate secondary school promotional activities.
- Assist with departmental consultancy, research, seminars, exhibitions, and industrial attachments.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a recognised degree in Jewellery Design or equivalent professional qualifications, preferably with postgraduate qualification.
- Have relevant teaching or industry experience in jewellery workshop management, making techniques, gem stone setting, sketching, and CAD.
- Demonstrate knowledge of latest trends and practices in jewellery making and design.
- Possess good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese.
- Industry or professional body linkages are advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract until 31 October 2028.
