Assistant Manager to the Director in the Institute for Precision Prevention

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise implementation of the protecting.health/hong kong study while ensuring alignment with protocols and project requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and bottlenecks, and implement solutions for timely delivery.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
Oversee project planning, timeline management, stakeholder coordination, and deliverable tracking.
Build external presence for IPP and serve as liaison between IPP and HKU management.
Represent IPP at institutional meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions.
Support the Director in strategic planning, operational decision-making, and resource allocation.
Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Must be highly qualified and experienced as an administrative staff or manager.
Strong experience in project coordination and implementation required.
Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and external partnerships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills needed.
Experience with funding management and grant preparation desired.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for 3 years with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
