Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a vigorous, externally funded research programme.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in data analytics, computing, modelling, and quantitative methods.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration across the department.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences or related fields.
- Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
- Excellent track record or strong potential for teaching and research excellence.
- Background in data analytics, machine learning, computing, modelling, or advanced quantitative methods is highly desired.
Appointment
- Full-time, contract basis for up to three years initially, with potential for longer-term appointment or substantiation.
