Assistant Project Officer (at the rank of Research Assistant II) in the School of English

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with administration and research matters for a healthcare communication research initiative.
Recruit research participants and promote the project to stakeholders.
Conduct data collection, literature searches, and Chinese-to-English translation.
Create publicity materials including infographics, posters, and videos.
Manage the research group's website and social media channels.
Organize public lectures, academic conferences, and symposiums.

Bachelor's degree or above in English Language and Linguistics, Language and Communication, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
Minimum graduation GPA of 3.3/4.3 from a reputable university.
Preferably bilingual in Cantonese-English or Mandarin-English.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience assisting in externally funded research projects is preferred.

Contract — Nine months with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
