Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support development, implementation and review of university-wide teaching and learning strategies, policies and initiatives.
  • Provide administrative leadership for central units including Co-operative Education, Common Core, Cultural Management, HKU Horizons, and Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre.
  • Facilitate coordination across academic and administrative units to promote innovative and student-centred teaching practices.
  • Provide high-level secretariat support for committees and working groups, including preparing discussion papers and reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP/PVC (Teaching and Learning).

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of relevant administrative and management experience in large organizations.
  • Sound understanding of teaching and learning in tertiary education environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
  • High level of computer and AI literacy with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Appointment

  • Full-time contract for two years, commencing as soon as possible, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
