Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys along the MacLehose Trail to monitor and document recreation impacts.
- Measure and assess trail conditions, including soil erosion, vegetation degradation, and trail widening.
- Perform data processing and spatial analyses using GIS and remote sensing to map habitat changes.
- Prepare educational and public outreach materials promoting sustainable hiking and conservation awareness.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree or above in geography, environmental sciences, life sciences, biology, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrate proven field survey experience with passion for hiking, ecological research, and biodiversity conservation.
- Possess practical experience or proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
- Have outstanding physical fitness to conduct full-day outdoor fieldwork in rough terrain while carrying equipment.
- Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills in both written and spoken English.
