Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to the departmental laboratory and supervise junior technical staff.
- Assist in planning and executing minor works projects in the department.
- Coordinate with other departments and liaise with contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 5+ years of tertiary institute technical support experience (or higher diploma/certificate with 10+ years experience).
- Possess strong communication and project management skills.
- Have basic proficiency in Office applications and knowledge of chemical safety.
- Be self-motivated, responsible, able to work independently under pressure, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience managing minor works projects is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time; two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme (up to 10% of basic salary).
