Assistant Technical Manager (holding a functional title of Training Officer) in the Hong Kong Jockey Club Global Health Institute (HKJCGHI)

Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate all training and capacity building activities for the institute.
Develop and support academic programs including a Master of Public Health program in French.
Design and deliver targeted short-term trainings in biostatistics, epidemiology, genetics, and related fields.
Assess training needs, develop content, coordinate logistics, and evaluate program effectiveness.
Manage scheduling, attendance, training records, and cross-functional capacity-building initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Education or Public Health-related field required; Master's degree preferred.
2-5 years of experience in training, academic program development, or related roles.
Native or near-native proficiency in French with excellent written and spoken skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Experience working with subject matter experts and familiarity with public health concepts and curriculum structures.
Experience in international organizations, low- and middle-income country settings, and cross-cultural environments valued.
Ability to undertake frequent international travel.

Full-time, one-year temporary or two-year fixed-term basis with possible renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
