Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a vigorous, externally funded research programme.
- Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Earth and Environmental Sciences.
- Teach courses in data analytics, computing, modelling, and quantitative methods.
- Work in interdisciplinary research areas bridging core departmental strengths.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Ph.D. degree in Earth and Environmental Sciences or related fields.
- Postdoctoral experience preferred.
- Excellent track record or strong potential for teaching and research excellence.
- Expertise in data analytics, machine learning, computing, modelling, and advanced quantitative methods highly desired.
Appointment
- Tenure-track position at Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level (depending on qualifications and experience).
- Full-time contract basis for up to three years, with potential for longer-term appointment or substantiation.
