Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct high-quality research and generate scholarly publications or other significant research outputs.
Initiate and support research projects and secure external research grants to enhance domain impact.
Strengthen academic and professional networks with local and overseas institutions.
Provide leadership in programme and curriculum development at undergraduate to postgraduate levels.
Engage in and lead research-related activities with colleagues and research postgraduate students.
Participate actively in the University's community.

Hold a doctoral degree and/or prior degrees in relevant field(s).
Demonstrate active research capacity and potential with proven track record.
Be fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, with preference for Cantonese knowledge.
Understand the educational context of Hong Kong and/or China.
(Associate Professor): Evidence of strong research output and publication with strong research impact.
(Assistant Professor): Evidence of scholarship, research, and publications in the relevant field(s).
(Preferred): International experience and knowledge of higher education in Asia, China, or the Greater Bay Area.
