Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver practice-oriented instruction in courses including News Reporting, Media Writing in Chinese, and Business Journalism Practicum.
Develop and deliver new courses reflecting cutting-edge industry trends such as AI-driven communication and digital content management.
Establish and lead initiatives in media innovation, particularly integrating artificial intelligence into journalism and communication education.
Build and maintain partnerships with media organisations, professional bodies, and government agencies across Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, Chinese Mainland, and international stakeholders.
Organise industry-focused events including guest lectures, seminars, and workshops to connect students with professionals.
Supervise student projects and internships to ensure practical relevance and hands-on learning experiences.
Contribute to curriculum development and review to align with technological advancements and industry trends.
Assist in programme accreditation and quality assurance processes.
Provide mentorship to junior faculty and students.

Must be an experienced professional with expertise in journalism and communication.
Should demonstrate ability to bridge academic theories with industry practices.
Must have capability to develop courses reflecting cutting-edge industry trends.
