Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Project Building Services Engineer in technical supervision and site matters across all campuses.
Monitor labour resources, progress, materials and equipment on site.
Maintain site records including record books and submit monthly returns.
Liaise and coordinate with contractors, utility companies, clients and government departments.
Resolve minor disputes between various parties on site.
Verify that approved materials and equipment are delivered and installed correctly.
Check site measurements and contractor payment claims.
Conduct site surveys of building services installations and propose additional or repair works.
Inspect and witness testing and commissioning of building services.
Monitor outstanding works and defects rectification.
Review operation and maintenance manuals and as-fitted drawings.
Supervise contractors' production of coordinated drawings.

Bachelor's degree or above in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years' relevant experience including 4 years as Assistant Building Services Inspector or equivalent.
Knowledge of BIM, AutoCAD, ICT, or Registered Electrical Worker status is preferred.
Experience with restaurants, canteens, lecture theatres, laboratories, AV/IT systems, or smart facilities is advantageous.
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Must be able to pass a written test if shortlisted.

Fixed-term contract of 2 years with possibility of re-appointment subject to performance review and funding availability.
