Duties & Responsibilities

  • Formulate, review and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure effective resource use and good governance.
  • Supervise purchasing and support team to process purchase requisitions and provide support for tendering, ordering, goods delivery, and payment.
  • Lead migration of the existing procurement/tendering system to a new ERP system.
  • Advise on engagement of on-campus commercial outlets including vending machines, ATMs and catering outlets.
  • Oversee the operation of catering outlets.
  • Provide secretarial services to tender boards.
  • Serve as Secretary and member in the Catering Committee and other assigned committees.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant managerial experience in procurement.
  • High analytical skills with a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • ERP system migration/implementation experience and/or experience in publicly funded institutions or higher education sector is advantageous.
