Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach and develop undergraduate and postgraduate surgical programmes.
- Provide clinical service and patient care at teaching hospitals.
- Conduct research and publish findings.
- Contribute to administrative duties in the Department and Faculty.
- May assist in developing the HKU-Shenzhen Hospital and travel to Shenzhen as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Medical qualification registrable with the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
- Specialty Fellowship in Surgery from The College of Surgeons of Hong Kong or equivalent.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching medical students and training interns and residents.
- Capacity to contribute to undergraduate curriculum development.
- Proven clinical competence.
- Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English for patient communication.
- Research achievements and publications are advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time — Four-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
