Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual counselling and psychological assessments for students across all Faculties.
  • Manage crisis situations and provide mental health interventions.
  • Develop and deliver mental health resources and activities for diverse student populations.
  • Offer staff consultation and training in joint-care approaches.
  • Promote mental health and psychosocial well-being across the University.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Social Workers, and other support personnel.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline; or Bachelor's in Social Work with 5+ years' experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-degree relevant experience (or 5 years for Bachelor's degree holders).
  • Eligible for membership of relevant professional bodies.
  • Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua required.
  • Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualification is advantageous.

Appointment

  • Fixed-term contract — 2 years with possibility of renewal; includes contract end gratuity and up to 10% University retirement benefit contribution.
