Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counselling and psychological assessments for students across all Faculties.
- Manage crisis situations and provide mental health interventions.
- Develop and deliver mental health resources and activities for diverse student populations.
- Offer staff consultation and training in joint-care approaches.
- Promote mental health and psychosocial well-being across the University.
- Collaborate with Clinical Psychologists, Counselling Psychologists, Social Workers, and other support personnel.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counselling, Counselling Psychology, Social Work, or related discipline; or Bachelor's in Social Work with 5+ years' experience.
- Minimum 3 years' post-degree relevant experience (or 5 years for Bachelor's degree holders).
- Eligible for membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua required.
- Mental Health First Aid Trainer qualification is advantageous.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract — 2 years with possibility of renewal; includes contract end gratuity and up to 10% University retirement benefit contribution.
