Duties & Responsibilities

Assist the Data Manager in overseeing the complete data lifecycle across multiple projects from collection through reporting.
Monitor data quality, run validation checks, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Maintain comprehensive documentation including data dictionaries, operational procedures, and audit trails.
Support database administration and coach data entry and processing teams.
Prepare operational dashboards and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT, platform vendors, project managers, and researchers to convert data requirements into practical solutions while ensuring data protection compliance.

Bachelor's degree in data management, statistics, computer science, information systems, public health, or related discipline (Master's degree advantageous).
Proven experience in data cleaning, quality assurance, technical documentation, and data reports in multi-stakeholder environments.
Practical expertise with SQL databases, Excel, Google Sheets, and data capture systems like REDCap, ODK, SurveyCTO, or Qualtrics.
Proficiency in programming languages such as R, SAS, Stata, or Python (desirable).
Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau (advantageous).
Knowledge of data protection principles, compliance frameworks, and statistical methods.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Leadership and mentoring capabilities with commitment to ethical data practices.

One-year temporary basis or two-year fixed-term basis with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
