Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the Faculty's newly established Digital and Innovation Team supporting MSc Programmes.
- Formulate and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with MSc 2.0 strategic initiatives.
- Oversee data analytics, systems development, digital solutions, automation and artificial intelligence.
- Lead and mentor a team of managers and technical professionals.
- Develop innovative technology solutions to enhance programme operations and student experience.
- Manage strategic technology projects and vendor relationships.
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to identify digital innovation opportunities.
- Provide strategic advice to senior management on digital transformation and technology initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years' work experience (at least 4 in managerial/leadership roles) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strategic-minded, innovative and detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and cloud-based technologies.
- Advantageous: knowledge of generative AI, intelligent automation and digital solution design; experience in higher education sector.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme (up to 15% of basic salary).
