Director of Digital and Innovation (MSc Programmes)

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the Faculty's newly established Digital and Innovation Team supporting MSc Programmes.
Formulate and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with MSc 2.0 strategic initiatives.
Oversee data analytics, systems development, digital solutions, automation and artificial intelligence.
Lead and mentor a team of managers and technical professionals.
Develop innovative technology solutions to enhance programme operations and student experience.
Manage strategic technology projects and vendor relationships.
Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to identify digital innovation opportunities.
Provide strategic advice to senior management on digital transformation and technology initiatives.

Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years' work experience (at least 4 in managerial/leadership roles) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Analytics.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to multitask under pressure.
Strategic-minded, innovative and detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility.
Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large-scale digital transformation projects.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and cloud-based technologies.
Advantageous: knowledge of generative AI, intelligent automation and digital solution design; experience in higher education sector.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract-end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme (up to 15% of basic salary).
