Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach common core (general education) courses in philosophy to non-humanities undergraduate majors.
- Deliver introductory courses covering both Eastern and Western philosophical traditions, Logic, and Ethics.
- Teach specialized courses such as Chinese Philosophy, Analytic Philosophy, and Philosophy of Science based on faculty strengths.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctorate in Philosophy or a related field.
- Demonstrate experience teaching philosophy in higher education contexts to diverse student backgrounds.
- Possess strong communication skills and ability to explain complex philosophical concepts accessibly.
Appointment
- Full-time, 2 years, renewable.
