Duties & Responsibilities
- Align studio technical capabilities with academic and strategic goals and support technical direction.
- Collaborate with artists and producers to achieve desired sound quality and establish technical standards.
- Mentor junior technical team members and build relationships with equipment vendors and industry experts.
- Stay informed about current recording, production, and audio-visual technology trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in audio engineering, recording/mixing engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in studio environments with technical management and project support expertise.
- Proficiency with high-end equipment including SSL/Neve consoles, Avid HDX Systems, and audio-visual technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organisational skills with hands-on mixing and mastering experience.
Appointment
- Fixed-term contract of one to two years; re-appointment subject to mutual agreement and funding availability.
