Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative, analytical and secretarial support to the Centre Director.
  • Coordinate the Director's calendar, meetings, travel arrangements and Centre events.
  • Prepare briefing materials and track grant timelines, deliverables and reporting requirements.
  • Compile grant documentation, progress updates and compliance reports.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect data and ensure timely submission of materials.
  • Assist in event operations, including venue booking, travel arrangements and on-site logistics.
  • Support project planning and management for grants, human resources and financial administration.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in finance and research project administration in tertiary institutions.
  • Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese, with Cantonese proficiency highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate social and political nuances across Chinese and Western contexts.
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure.

Appointment

  • Full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
