Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative, analytical and secretarial support to the Centre Director.
- Coordinate the Director's calendar, meetings, travel arrangements and Centre events.
- Prepare briefing materials and track grant timelines, deliverables and reporting requirements.
- Compile grant documentation, progress updates and compliance reports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to collect data and ensure timely submission of materials.
- Assist in event operations, including venue booking, travel arrangements and on-site logistics.
- Support project planning and management for grants, human resources and financial administration.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in finance and research project administration in tertiary institutions.
- Excellent command of English and Mandarin Chinese, with Cantonese proficiency highly desirable.
- Strong organizational, analytical and multitasking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate social and political nuances across Chinese and Western contexts.
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and perform effectively under pressure.
Appointment
- Full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
