Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage capital commissioning projects with internal and external parties.
  • Handle human resources functions including recruitment, performance management, and staff development.
  • Plan strategic use of funding and draft funding proposals.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to institute committees.
  • Manage building premises and plan facility enhancements in compliance with university policies.
  • Organize and manage research data, proposals, and information strategically.
  • Coordinate logistics for seminars and events at institute and faculty levels.
  • Oversee general administration for an institute with approximately 61 research groups and over 700 researchers.
  • Maintain internal controls and support core laboratory facilities.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5 years of relevant executive experience at tertiary institutions.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
  • Strong sense of responsibility and strategic awareness.
  • Proficient independent work attitude with good team spirit.
  • High-level decision-making, organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good IT knowledge.
  • Ability to motivate subordinates to deliver quality work under tight deadlines.

Appointment

  • Full-time contract — 1 year, commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
