Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Manager in managing the Faculty's facilities and renovation projects.
  • Liaise with users, the Estates Office, and contractors on renovation requests, budgets, and work scheduling.
  • Coordinate with the Estates Office to ensure timely project completion within approved scope and budget.
  • Assist with furniture ordering and delivery schedule monitoring.
  • Manage the Faculty's day-to-day space operations.
  • Maintain records, databases, and filing systems for facilities, projects, and financial matters.
  • Support the Senior Manager with finance-related and administrative duties as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 in 5 subjects in HKDSEE (including English, Chinese, and Mathematics) or equivalent HKCEE passes with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Preferably have experience in facilities management, office/laboratory renovation, space management, or building operations in a large organization or tertiary institution.
  • Understand renovation and fitting-out processes and ability to read simple layout plans and drawings.
  • Proven project management experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word and Excel) and facilities/project management systems.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated team player capable of working independently.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and proactive, service-oriented attitude.

Appointment

  • Full-time fixed-term contract for 2 years, commencing as soon as possible, with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
