Duties & Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in contemporary multimedia art, East Asian art surveys, and specialized topics.
- Conduct research in East Asian art history, preferably with expertise in China and traditional media.
- Apply new methodologies to art historical scholarship and demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD in Art History or related field, completed or expected by August 2026.
- Strong publication record appropriate to career stage and commitment to research excellence.
- For Associate Professor/Professor level: demonstrated record of obtaining competitive external funding.
Appointment
- Full-time — three-year contract (renewable subject to mutual agreement) with competitive salary, annual leave, medical/dental benefits, and housing benefits where applicable.
