Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the Center for Language Education to achieve excellence and innovation in language education.
Provide strategic vision for language teaching, learning, and assessment initiatives.
Maximize technological innovation while adhering to pedagogic principles and ethical standards.
Ensure highest quality standards in teaching and challenge students to reach their potential.
Collaborate across university departments to align language education with institutional priorities.
Communicate transparently in decision-making within and beyond the Center.
Work as Associate Dean with the Associate Provost on university language education mission.

Distinguished research record in AI in language studies, applied linguistics, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated excellence and leadership in curriculum development and pedagogy.
Track record of driving innovation in AI and language education.
Substantial experience leveraging digital technologies for language teaching and learning.
International profile as a leader in language education research.

Full-time — Three-year fixed-term contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement; research-active applicants with substantial publication record may be considered for substantive track appointment.
