Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to sustainability education strategy through leadership in multidisciplinary understanding of key concepts and practices.
- Develop and lead internationally recognized collaborative research programs addressing global challenges like climate change, smart cities, and social inequality.
- Teach sustainability topics at both undergraduate and graduate levels with emphasis on experiential learning.
- Participate in or lead interdisciplinary research teams on sustainability and resilience topics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a doctoral degree in science, engineering, or an interdisciplinary environmental or natural resources-related program.
- Have proven teaching and advising experience at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Demonstrate a strong research and publication record consistent with academic rank and potential for securing research funding.
- Show ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams involving both social and natural scientists.
Appointment
- Full-time, tenure-track at all ranks; Assistant Professor/Associate Professor normally on 3-year contract (renewable), Professor on substantive basis.
