Duties & Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate logistics of newborn screening programmes across Paediatrics and Obstetrics & Gynaecology departments.
- Organise genetic clinics and studies, including obtaining parental consent and collecting blood spot samples.
- Track records and statistics for the newborn screening programme.
- Participate in metabolic team and newborn screening clinics, offering genetic counselling to patients.
- Assist in daily operations of the Hong Kong Genome Project.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold current registration as a nurse in Hong Kong with a valid Practising Certificate.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Have at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrate high self-motivation and strong organisational skills.
- Experience in paediatric/obstetric services and newborn screening/genetic cases is advantageous.
Appointment
- Full-time contract for 1 year, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
