Duties & Responsibilities
- Work on a project promoting students' self-directed learning and Chinese online reading competencies.
- Assist the Project Leader in overseeing research aspects and managing the project.
- Analyse quantitative and qualitative data and research findings.
- Translate research findings into teaching resources for teachers.
- Write research reports and produce academic papers.
- Present findings at local and international conferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a Master's degree or above in education, Chinese language, reading psychology, evaluation, or related field; or a Ph.D. in education or related discipline.
- Have at least one year of post-qualification research experience in the related field.
- Be proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Be self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Priority given to those with Chinese language education research experience and knowledge of Hong Kong's education context.
Appointment
- Full-time / Part-time; Contract — One year with possibility of renewal.
