Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and refine wearable glove hardware with stretchable sensors and piezoionic technology for motor tracking and rehabilitation gaming.
Integrate and test wearable systems with exergaming platforms and collect motor performance data such as grip strength and coordination metrics.
Develop and maintain firmware and software for real-time data acquisition, processing, and transmission from wearable devices to health apps.
Conduct user testing and iterative prototyping with older adults in community and clinical settings.
Collaborate with biomedical engineering, data science, and health communication teams on system testing and implementation.
Support data analysis, documentation, progress reports, and journal publication preparation under supervision.

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field.
Relevant research or project experience in wearable devices or related technologies with strong analytical and technical skills.
Familiarity with sensor design, fabrication, embedded systems programming, and hardware-software integration.
Good command of written and spoken English with strong communication and independent working skills.
Familiarity with stretchable electronics, piezoionic materials, or soft robotics is a strong advantage.
Experience designing for older adults or accessibility-focused user groups is highly desirable.
