Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead scientific design, oversight, and execution of a large-scale hearing randomized controlled trial (RCT).
- Develop and refine scientific protocols for hearing screening, device fitting, and outcome measurement.
- Manage research staff, data collection, data analysis, and ensure rigorous data integrity.
- Prepare test materials, conduct data analysis, and provide staff training on hearing-related issues.
- Assist with ethics applications, data auditing, and hearing device tendering processes.
- Document and report findings through conference presentations and peer-reviewed publications.
Requirements & Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent doctorate in audiology, hearing science, or related field.
- Proven experience managing research projects with strong publication record in auditory research.
- Experience managing complex multi-site clinical trials and supervising interdisciplinary teams.
- Strong English communication skills and ability to understand Chinese, preferably Cantonese.
- Keen interest in hearing screening and/or hearing device fitting.
Appointment
- Full-time, fixed-term contract for 3 years (1 November 2026 to 31 October 2029).
