Duties & Responsibilities

Assist project leader in developing coating methods for space exploration tools and devices.
Apply and refine coating techniques including electroplating, anodizing, PVD and other surface treatments.
Ensure precise and uniform coating application according to project specifications.
Conduct quality checks on coating adhesion, thickness and resistance to environmental factors.
Maintain and calibrate coating equipment while ensuring safety compliance.
Collaborate with project team to troubleshoot and improve coating processes.

Honours degree or equivalent qualification.
Hands-on experience in surface engineering and coating techniques such as electroplating, anodising or PVD.
Familiarity with surface characterisation methods such as microscopy or thickness measurement (preferred).
