Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a finance team supporting organisational growth and institutional development.
- Provide leadership in financial strategy, governance, and long-term financial sustainability.
- Develop and implement a robust financial framework covering budgets, accounting, reporting, and procurement.
- Maintain accounting, budgetary, and control systems for financial resource management.
- Serve as secretary to the Finance Committee under the Board of Governors.
- Develop and oversee implementation of accounting, financial, and procurement policies.
- Oversee administration of donations, sponsorships, research grants, and projects.
- Provide consultancy on business development proposals and departmental performance.
- Prepare financial documents and serve as key finance representative in committees and accreditation exercises.
- Administer government schemes including the On-the-Job Training Allowance Pilot Scheme.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a recognised degree and HKICPA professional qualification or equivalent.
- Have at least 10 years of relevant experience at appropriate responsibility level.
- Possess solid experience in corporate governance, company secretarial matters, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience drafting and presenting papers to Boards and regulatory bodies.
- Have experience leading a finance office in education, non-profit, public sector, or regulated environment.
- Show resilience under pressure with independent judgement and sound commercial sense.
- Ability to foster positive culture and drive organisational change.
- Possess strong leadership, organisational, and management abilities with entrepreneurial mindset.
- Demonstrate high proficiency in English and Chinese.
