Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct active research in data science and/or big data related fields.
- Teach and mentor students at the institute.
- Contribute to building up the newly established Institute of Data Science through scholarly work.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold outstanding academic credentials with potential for scientific and scholarly breakthroughs.
- Possess expertise in core areas (machine learning, AI, big data systems, data security, NLP, etc.) or applied areas (computational social science, bioinformatics, fintech, robotics, etc.).
- Have a background in computer science, statistics, optimization, applied mathematics, social science, bioinformatics, business, or related disciplines.
Appointment
- Full-time; tenure-track or direct tenure positions at assistant, associate, or full professor level.
