Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish, oversee, and enhance the new HRSS team and drive operational excellence across HR functions.
  • Oversee all HR processes related to the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Champion operational excellence by optimising HR processes and implementing best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to eliminate redundancies and align HR practices with university-wide standards.
  • Leverage automation and technology to support streamlined processes and improve employee experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HRSS team while promoting professional growth and accountability.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Recognised degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a shared services role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Good understanding of HR processes and technologies with a focus on operational excellence and automation.
  • Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and organisational skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with people at different levels.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment-related ordinances and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication in English and Chinese, including Putonghua.

Appointment

  • Full-time contract — 3 years (fixed-term, re-appointment subject to mutual agreement and funding availability).
