Information Technology Manager (Project Management Office)

Duties & Responsibilities

Establish and continuously improve the PMO function within IT operations.
Lead software development and infrastructure projects through their full lifecycle.
Track IT project portfolio progress and report status, risks, and issues to senior management.
Lead recovery efforts for projects that are behind schedule, over budget, or at risk.
Develop a centralised framework for risk identification, assessment, and reporting across IT projects.
Create best practice methodologies and standardised processes for project management.
Conduct training workshops to upskill project managers and technical leads.
Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.

Bachelor's degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, Project Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of professional IT experience.
At least 4 years in project/program management, risk management, or PMO leadership roles.
Demonstrated track record of successful project recovery, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
In-depth technical understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, and strategic IT planning.
Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid methodologies and risk management frameworks.
