Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend features, APIs, and data infrastructure for the UpCareer platform.
Build functionality within the BLADE gamification platform, including gameplay data capture and scoring mechanisms.
Design and implement APIs to integrate AI recommendation models into the platform.
Develop and maintain data schemas for demographic, behavioural, attitudinal, and performance data.
Support data cleaning, mining, and analytics activities for AI model development.
Collaborate with front-end developers to define API specifications and resolve integration issues.
Conduct testing, debugging, and technical documentation of backend systems.
Support maintenance and enhancement of platform infrastructure post-deployment.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline (final-year students eligible).
Understanding of database design principles for relational and/or NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with Git and collaborative software development practices.
Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
Experience with Python and API development frameworks such as Flask.
