Duties & Responsibilities

Support R&D and systems engineering for novel traffic control prototypes and field equipment integration.
Deploy field monitoring systems and collect empirical data across multiple site locations.
Develop and calibrate traffic simulation models to assess impact of traffic arrangements on network capacity.
Analyze dynamic route choice behavior and traffic redistribution under road closure scenarios.
Prepare technical reports and coordinate with external contractors to validate field setups.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles, hardware-software integration, or traffic signal control logic.
Proficiency in traffic engineering software and simulation tools (e.g., VISSIM, AIMSUN, SUMO).
Strong analytical skills with experience in traffic data analysis.
Willingness to conduct frequent field work and data collection at various off-site locations.
