Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist course instructors with in-class exercises, marking assessments, and class administration.
- Help faculty members and the General Office organize academic and student activities.
- Teach courses in your field of expertise and general education courses offered by the Department.
- Complete other academic and administrative tasks assigned by the Head of Department or Programme Directors.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Show high self-efficacy and ability to mentor less experienced course assistants.
- Collaborate effectively with departmental and external stakeholders.
Appointment
- Full-time — Fixed-term contract of 2 years with re-appointment subject to performance review, mutual agreement, and funding availability.
