IT Technician for Network and Operations Team

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor central IT systems and campus network operations to ensure safe and normal service provision.
Coordinate installations of network infrastructure, cabling, and IT closets.
Monitor backup job status and carry out production change releases and scheduled operational tasks.
Produce system performance reports and manage equipment lifecycle and inventory.
Answer user enquiries and track and escalate incidents.
Work shifts that may include weekends and public holidays.

Higher diploma in Information Technology or related discipline.
At least one year of post-qualification experience in data centre and enterprise IT systems/network infrastructure operations.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to work independently and in teams following prescribed guidelines.
Solid knowledge and experience in at least two of: IT closet installation, cooling/electricity/fire protection for data centres, or equipment troubleshooting methods.

Full-time, fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal; commencement as soon as possible.
