IT Technician for Network and Operations Team in the Information Technology Services

Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor central IT systems and campus network operations to ensure safe and normal service provision.
Coordinate installations of network infrastructure, cabling, and IT closets.
Monitor backup job status and carry out production change releases and scheduled operational tasks.
Generate system performance reports and manage equipment life-cycle and inventory.
Answer user enquiries and track incidents with escalation procedures.
May require shift work including weekends and public holidays.

Higher Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline required.
Minimum one year post-qualification experience in data centre and enterprise IT systems/network infrastructure operations.
Fluent written and spoken English and Chinese.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Solid knowledge in at least two of: IT closet installation, data centre cooling/electricity/fire protection, or equipment troubleshooting.
Hot/cold aisle design and data rack installation experience preferred.

Full-time — Fixed-term contract for 2 years with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; commencement as soon as possible.
