Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to staff via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Install and update software applications and operating systems.
- Maintain inventory of IT equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
- Document support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk system.
- Provide basic training and guidance to staff on IT systems and software use.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Linux).
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Appointment
- Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal.
