Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain web applications using front-end, back-end, and database technologies.
Provide technical support to staff members addressing IT-related inquiries within the Engineering Faculty.
Assist in setup and configuration of computer systems and peripherals.
Provide on-site IT support for events and outside regular office hours.
Assist with service desk projects including relocations and OS installations or upgrades.

Hold a Higher Diploma or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Technology, or related discipline.
Demonstrate proficiency in web programming languages such as Java, PHP, Python, MySQL, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
Have proven experience in Linux/Windows OS and application server administration.
Possess strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, common software applications, and networking concepts.
Have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience in photography, photo editing, and/or video editing is advantageous.

Full-time, two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance; includes contract end gratuity and University contribution to retirement benefits scheme totaling up to 10% of basic salary.

Commencement: As soon as possible.
