Duties & Responsibilities

Perform system updates, security patches, user account management, and network configuration to maintain IT security and efficiency.
Provide IT support to staff and students on hardware, software, networks, accounts, printing, and office applications.
Maintain server infrastructure including virtualization platforms, failover clusters, backups, and monitoring.
Support classroom teaching by setting up, operating, and troubleshooting computers, AV systems, and e-learning tools.
Manage and maintain computing, audiovisual, and office IT facilities across multiple operating system platforms.
Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining in-house systems, websites, web applications, and internal tools.
Work occasional weekday evenings and weekends to accommodate teaching schedules.

Hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Have relevant experience in IT support, system administration, infrastructure support, or systems development.
Demonstrate basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills including IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
Possess experience providing technical support for hardware, software, networks, printing, and office applications.
Have experience or knowledge in server infrastructure support, monitoring, backups, and troubleshooting.
Be familiar with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V, and high-availability configurations.

Full-time; Two-year fixed-term contract with possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
