Duties & Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and manage large financial and economic datasets.
- Conduct empirical analysis using statistical and econometric methods under supervisor guidance.
- Perform literature reviews and summarise academic research relevant to ongoing projects.
- Assist in preparing research papers, presentations, tables, and figures for academic publication and conferences.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, or related disciplines (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or statistical language such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
- Solid quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Self-motivation, responsibility, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment
- Contract — one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement.
