Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop a co-simulation method for building energy modeling and outdoor thermal environment in Hong Kong's high-rise built environment.
- Conduct system-based research on environmental sustainability of cities and built infrastructure.
- Synthesize interdisciplinary knowledge to improve understanding of urban sustainability dynamics.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hold a PhD degree with expertise in building energy modeling.
- Have cross-disciplinary experience such as urban heat modeling, computing methods, or techno-economic analysis.
- Be highly motivated and committed to research excellence.
Appointment
- Full-time — 1 year contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance.
